LONGLIVELOWDIVE
Start Monday didn't just give Low Dive a look. We helped build an Asbury Park institution. From the original identity and artwork to ongoing social content, promotions and the moments that define the city's calendar, our work gave Low Dive a voice designed to last well beyond opening night.
THIS IS LOW DIVE.
The brand does not stop at the logo. This newer vertical film captures the music, the room, the people and the energy that keep Low Dive part of the city. An evolving identity, documented in real time.
A BRAND YOU CAN FEEL.
From the logo on the wall to the music in the room, Low Dive's identity lives beyond its design files. The film brings together the people, energy and atmosphere that give the brand its character.
The Challenge
The former Asbury Park Yacht Club space came with its own music history and local character. The next chapter needed to feel immediately recognizable without losing the unpolished energy that makes an oceanfront dive bar feel authentic.
Low Dive needed more than a sign. It needed a distinctive visual identity that could move seamlessly from the windows to menus, social posts, promotions, merchandise and its opening announcement.
Start Monday developed the brand and creative rollout as one connected system, establishing a recognizable identity at launch with the flexibility to grow well beyond opening day.
The Idea
Make Low Dive look and sound like it already belongs to Asbury Park: bold, gritty, irreverent and unmistakably rooted in the boardwalk.
The distressed, high-impact wordmark became the anchor of the visual language. Dark blue tones, direct typography and flexible graphic treatments gave the brand the attitude to feel at home on a T-shirt, in a bar window, across a printed menu or on a late-night social post.
Rather than building a precious identity that had to be protected from the real world, Start Monday built one made to live in it.
The Execution
Start Monday developed the launch identity and carried it through the practical realities of opening a new hospitality concept: menu design, artwork, initial promotional content, merchandise treatments and a cohesive digital presence.
After launch, the relationship continued. Original artwork, photography, video, social content, show announcements and timely promotions kept the brand visible week after week. The creative could shift for a concert, a holiday, or a spontaneous event without ever losing Low Dive's voice.
That consistency is what turns separate posts and promotions into one recognizable brand.
A PLACE PEOPLE MAKE THEIR OWN.
Low Dive's identity extends beyond menus and merchandise. It's on the boardwalk entrance, behind the turntables and in the shared energy of a room full of regulars and first-timers. Start Monday's photography documents the community and character behind the graphics.
Part of the Culture
Low Dive isn't positioned only around food or drinks. It's a place in Asbury Park's calendar—a boardwalk bar shaped by music, personalities, festivals, holidays and the unexpected moments that make the city itself.
Start Monday's continuing creative work has been there to translate those moments into promotions, visual storytelling and reasons to keep showing up.

THE BOARDWALK BOOGIE.
Every Sunday, DJ Foggy Notion brings the Boardwalk Boogie to Low Dive, turning the oceanfront into a destination for records, dancing and regulars. Travel + Leisure included the night among its five can't-miss Asbury Park experiences in 2025.
The recognition reflects a gathering with its own lasting place in the city's music calendar—more than another bar promotion.
Start Monday's ongoing artwork, social storytelling and promotion give moments like these a consistent visual home within the wider Low Dive identity.

ZOMBIE WALK IN MOTION.
The annual Asbury Park Zombie Walk is a perfect example of the work continuing beyond an opening campaign. Start Monday's video coverage connects Low Dive with the people, costumes, and boardwalk energy that make these moments uniquely Asbury Park.
THE MUSIC IS THE CULTURE.
Low Dive's music identity lives in performances as much as it does in posters. Our live coverage of Preachers captures the energy and immediacy of a night inside the venue—another chapter in the ongoing visual archive of Low Dive.
The Takeaway
An institution is built over time: in its visual identity, in the way people talk about it, and in the moments that become part of a city's shared memory.
Start Monday created Low Dive's creative foundation and has continued to build on it through artwork, social storytelling and event promotion, from local traditions to the biggest weekends on the boardwalk.
The result is more than a consistent look: a recognizable Asbury Park presence built to grow through ordinary nights, major weekends and the moments people will remember for years. That is how an institution builds a legacy.
LONG LIVE LOW DIVE.
